Profile

Flying Fish Tulum is a 5-Star rated PADI Dive Shop and Training Centre located in the heart of Tulum town. Flying Fish Tulum specializes in Cenote Diving and Snorkeling Tours, alongside PADI Certification Courses for beginner and advanced adventurers alike. Whether you’re looking to learn basic theory and discover scuba diving for the first time, get certified as a PADI Open Water and/or Advanced Diver, or explore the spectacular light shows and rock formations of some of the most beautiful Cenotes in Tulum, we’ve got the underwater adventure just for you.

There are thousands of Cenotes throughout the Yucatan. A Cenote is a sink hole in the ground, that goes down to the water. It is a geological feature in Karst Topography caused by erosion of limestone rock. You can dive them safely with just an Open Water certification. Ideally you have dove recently. You don’t have to be cave trained to enjoy a lot of these amazing cenotes as long as you are with a registered guide.

Visit the crocodile in Casa Cenote, Experience the Barbie Line and Bat Cave at Cenote Dos Ojos with stunning light and amazing stalactites and stalagmites. Get swept up by the fairytale ambiance of Cenote Car Wash. Be captivated by the illusion of an underground lake and island at Cenote Angelita and get engulfed by the hydrogen sulphate cloud in Cenote El Pit. Some have Mayan artifacts and prehistoric bones.
As well as SCUBA diving Tulum has a wealth of Mayan History and Culture. Visit Chichen Itza one of the listed Seven New Wonders Of The World. Visit Sian Ka’an Biosphere established in 1986 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to thousands of species of flora and fauna.

After diving check out the amazing beaches that Tulum has to offer and sip a refreshing Margarita. Check out the street food trucks to experience a real taste of Mexican Taco cuisine. Tulum has other watersports activities to offer – Kite Surfing, Stand Up Paddle and Kayaking. Renting a bike is a great way to explore the back streets of Tulum and admire the amazing mural street art scene.
