Utina Diving College is a family run dive center that caters for all qualifications of diver, from Scuba Diver to Dive Master and beyond. We have your safety and enjoyment as the most important part of your holiday.
All dive sites are subject to the weather, your qualification and experience. At Utina Diving College, we try never to mix different qualifications and experience so that everyone gets the most enjoyment out of each dive and this is made more possible by the fact that we only take a MAXIMUM of four divers plus the guide on any trip. If there are only 2 with a similar qualification and experience then we are happy to just take two or even one on any trip.
Our Wrecks are mostly at 40mts on Gozo so ideally a Deep Speciality or similar or experience is necessary to visit any of them. To enter any of these Wrecks an appropriate Wreck Speciality is required for your safety. All dive sites are totally dependant on the weather so although we will try very hard to fullfill your “Wish List” we cannot guarantee that we can visit every one of them.
On the Utina Diving College website there is a “Staying & Eating” tab that contains links to some highly recommended Restaurants and Accommodations. These have either been tried by ourselves or some of our valued customers and have passed our votes with flying colours with regard to cleanliness and service. We have Suex Water Scooters (DPV) and for those who are qualified this is a lovely way to see some otherwise inaccessible dive sites. Alternatively, we can take you through the DPV Course and qualify you to take out DPVs. Our dives are NOT restricted by TIME (some dive centers limit the dive time to 45mins); our dives are regulated by AIR consumption, 50 bar at exit.
