It only takes one breath to open up a whole new world of sensations and experience. Whether at first you may not realize it but freediving is for everyone. Within a very short period of time, you can easily descent down to a depth of up to 20 meters while freediving Nusa Penida.
You may not know it, but the human ability to hold the breath underwater is a natural reflex. We, like all marine mammals such as dolphins and whales, have a lot of adaptive changes in the body when we are submerged in the water.
Our human body is capable of so many incredible things. Be prepared to astound yourself and unlock abilities, true superpowers that you never knew you possessed all along. Before entering the water we will cover everything you need to know: breathing technique, physics of movement, psycho-emotional attitude, history of freediving, different disciplines and exercises.

I want to say that this is one of the most wonderful dive centres. Accompanied all the way, took cool pictures, the organisation is at a cool level. And most importantly, they saw everyone they wanted: manta, octopus, several turtles, spotted stingrays. Many thanks to the Pure dive resort team

Special thanks to Axel, my instructor, who was with me every step of the way — before and during the dive — to reassure me and encourage me. I felt completely safe and confident in the water. We had an amazing double dive. To see the magnificent mantas was a highlight, and the stunning corals, fish, and sharks topped the day off.

Excelente centro de buceo en Nusa Penida, hicimos dos inmersiones con ellos ayer. Profesionales a tope, material e instalaciones perfectas. En nuestro caso, hicimos las inmersiones con Arcadi, un profesional de los pies a la cabeza que ama lo que hace y te traslada esa ilusión que le pone, chapó, de 10!! Wonderful Instructor Sandra and wonderful Dive Centre. Super Professional but also fun. I completed the Advanced Open Water Training and Nitrox and found it to be much more thorough than the training I received in Australia. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I plan to do some more diving with them before I leave the Island.

have Open water license and Joined two dives in the morning. They recommended me to join a revision course at the swimming pool as I haven’t dive for a few years. This lesson is great as the instructor Danny is knowledgeable and professional and let me to practice the diving skill in the pool first, before diving in the sea. On the day of diving in the sea, we saw many Manta Rays at the Manta Point they brought us. I have some problem in balancing the pressure as suffered from cold, and the dive master was caring and lead me to dive deeper gradually. In the second dive, the water was very clear and we saw huge amount of fishes, turtles and other sea creatures. We faced strong current and the dive master hold our hands, worry that we would be flew away at the end of dive, and floating up together. He was a nice local guy and take care of us for the whole trip. He also took lots of videos and photos for us and free to get later. The equipment were new and modern. We enjoyed both dives and Strongly recommended to join their course if you want to see manta rays.
April 2024 — I’ve been to dozens of countries and major dive destinations, well over 100 dive centers, and I can confidently say that Pure Dive Resort was one of the best dive operations I’ve ever experienced. Everything was absolutely top tier and professional. I booked a 4-night package and extended it to a week. Manta Point and every dive site we visited was spectacular. Package included very nice hotel, five minute walk from Pure Dive. Fair warning that some of the boat rides can get a little rough with big swell, and currents can be strong. Overall, I really cannot think of a single critique. Basically they do everything right and cannot believe anybody would be disappointed by diving with Pure Dive Resort. Very highly recommended.

What a wonderful experience. The most caring dive Center I have ever used. Divers are very well looked after, small groups, matching experience and excellent guide to make every dive safe and enjoyable. Very good rental equipment. I took here an Open Water Course a year ago. and this year I took an Advanced Course with buddy Denys. it was the most interesting and responsible! I could trust my buddy 100% and understand the essence of scuba diving. I will come back here because the dive center is very aesthetic, there is new expensive equipment, very friendly staff and a feeling of family. the organization was at a high level. it’s the perfect place to learn! I love you with all my heart!

It was an incredible experience and we were super luky to do it at Pure Dive with Taufiqur.
He was a really nice guy. Super calm when explaining every technic and experienced instructor.
We really had our best time with him and all the theory aspects where perfectly explained and demonstrated.
At the center the instalations were really good and all the equipment was really well manteined.
You could see that all the team worked really good and the athmosphere was perfect to dive safe.
We do really recomend this dive center and definatelly will come back.
We had a great experience diving with the Pure Resort. We took the refresher course which was really detailed and professional and gave us confidence before we started on our real dive. We dived two days and the guides have been really supportive and helpful throughout the process which has made it a really comfortable experience for novice divers likes us. I am also happy that we had a cameraman from the crew diving with us in one of our dives and sent us back so many beautiful photos.
After not diving for several years, I was slightly apprehensive about getting back into the water. Romi, my instructor on my refresher course, was very professional and super friendly. He went above the norm to make sure I would be comfortable for my dives the following the day. Our guide Ingtang was incredibly knowledgeable about the local marine life and was very attentive of our group.. She was happy to grab me some extra weights when I had trouble descending and looked after me once we got down. All of the other staff were just as friendly and professional. Boats, equipment and communication were all very high quality and they made a special effort to ensure my partner could get on the same boat to go snorkelling. If I’m ever back in Nusa Penida I will definitely use Pure again.
Amazing Centre on a beautiful island. I had a couple of days spare in Bali before my trip to Komodo and was lucky to spend it with Pure Dive Resort. Ark was a brilliant host and made sure I had a great day of diving and some added snorkelling with a manta ray. The only trouble was, it was too quick. I’m hoping to visit the guys there next year and spend a lot longer with them. If you’re in Nusa Penida, make sure you join the guys at Pure Dive Resort.
I had an amazing experience with Pure Dive Resort and their staff. They are so professional, the quality of all the equipment is excellent and they are making sure that everyone has a great time. thanks so much to my instructor Taufig for his kindness, professionalism, respect towards the marine life and genuine happiness when spotting some manta rays very close to us. You can feel it isn’t just a job for him but his passion! Always keeping an eye on every single detail. We dove with Pure Dive Resort during the end of our trip to Bali at the beginning of June. We got the stay and dive package so we stayed for 3 days at the Sameton Hotel and dove for 2 days with Pure Dive. The staff communicated with us very well and we were able to make sure we had exactly what we wanted for our stay and dive. From arranging our ferries to our transport to the hotel, everything was excellent.
We were happy to find a great dive center that accommodated all levels of divers. The dive masters were friendly and helpful, so were the crew of the boat. We felt very safe the whole time and were able to fully enjoy our diving experience. The gear was well maintained and everything went smoothy, from the dive plan briefing, all the way to the review of the dives at lunch time.
We did 2 dives per day and had an amazing time. We went to Manta Point and were lucky enough to see several huge Manta. We also did dives at Suana, Toyapakeh Wall, and SD Point. The coral life around Nusa Penida was amazing. We could have done more dives per day, but we know how exhausting that can be so we just stuck with 2.
The accommodations at the Sameton hotel were conveniently located just down the street from Pure Dive. We had a lot of good food from the local warungs, and there were some beach clubs there too if you like that sort of thing.
There was one incident where another diver accidentally took my mask instead of their own when we returned to shore. I communicated with the owner and she and the staff tried to locate my missing mask even so far as contacting all of the other guests. Unfortunately it could not be found. But she offered to pay for my missing mask which was very kind and professional.
We would definitely dive again with Pure Dive Resort. They made our final days in Bali very memorable and it felt like we were staying with family. So please visit with Pure Dive Resort, where tomorrow is always Manta Trip.
Great dive center, professional and knowledgeable staff, did 10 dives with them in the early 2022. I could go to a new dive site every day, though first two days I really wanted to see manta rays and I did. And then I really enjoyed remote spots they took me too with actually no other divers around. Sorry forgot the names of theses spots.
We spent a week diving with Pure Dive October 2024. What a fantastic experience. The owners and all of their staff were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The dive guides were attentive to our needs and watchful of the diving conditions. They were instrumental in showing us so many interesting things that I would not have seen on my own, and also got us onto so many manta rays. I loved the information that they presented before we dive. It showed not only their care for their clients experience, but also their love for the ocean and all the creatures in it. I could not have asked for a more perfect adventure.
