The Mount Irvine Bay Resort is a well-appointed boutique 80 room hotel spread over 154 acres carved from an 18th century sugar and coconut plantation. The hotel retains much of its old world charm with wide-open spaces, beautifully landscaped gardens, charming decor, and breath-taking sea views. The hotel offers a range of accommodation, from standard rooms to garden cottages, all with excellent views of the pool, sea, or gardens.
The Mount Irvine Bay Resort boasts one of the largest pools on the island with a swim up bar and restaurant built around an original sugar mill overlooking the pool and Caribbean Sea. The resort has a spa, sauna, gym, and a range of activities to choose from, including private candlelit dining on the beach at our popular 1763 Restaurant & Bar. Mount Irvine Bay Resort is also a leading event space in Tobago, and is the preferred venue for weddings, conferences, meetings, retreats, and corporate events.
The resort is within walking distance of four popular beaches – our private beach, Mt Irvine Public Beach, Grange Bay, and Back Bay. Guests can sunbathe, swim, fish, enjoy water sports, and soak in the ambiance at our regular beach bonfires. Our beach is one of the best snorkeling spots on island due to the reef located just off the beach. We are ideally located to access nearby dive and surfing sites. Surfing is particularly good in the Mt Irvine Public Beach and Grange Bay areas. Airport transfers, transport to/from dive sites, equipment hire, lessons, and more can be arranged through our dive partners.
The resort is independent and locally owned.
