Manado Bay offers great muck, reef and wreck diving, excellent underwater photography opportunities and dive sites for all levels of divers. Highlights of diving here include a wealth of some of Indonesia’s rarest and most unique critters including various octopus and cuttlefish species, stingrays, frogfish, seahorses and an array of nudibranch and crustaceans. These dive sites, along with the Murex Manado House Reef, are excellent macro photography sites and also offer incredible night diving.

Diving with young adult family & Murex is an absolute joy…couldn’t possibly be better.
My wife isn’t a diver & Murex Resorts are so nice & comfortable that she could easily enjoy herself while we dived.
The dive sites are plentiful & near by, so long sails are avoided. The dive sites are beautiful & plentiful, as there’s something to look at or film for everyone.
The boats provide excellent service & are in mint condition.
Lastly, I have never during all my visits to Indonesia met such wonderful & all out service minded people as the staff in & around Murex. The staff really made a huge difference to our stay, besides the quality of everything from rooms, dive equipment & OF COURSE the food, which is absolutely wonderful.

Murex Manado was the 1st stop on our Passport to Paradise and it was amazing. Great food, spacious rooms and our kids loved the pool. Diving Bunaken is spectacular, turtles everywhere and super healthy corals all over the place. The staff is very friendly and does everything to make you comfortable. The boat transfer from here to the next resort went seamless and we had nothing to worry about. Just like another day of diving to get to the next resort. Loved it! Will be back….

Murex Manado Resort is outstanding.
The resort is awesome with hospitality, food, cabins and of course the diving. And if you feel like having a ‘dry’ day, the staff has excellent suggestions in the many choices for land excursions.

I did the passport to paradise trip. The resort is great, it has a good restaurant with lovely food (as you can expect in Indonesia), friendly staff (thanks for everything PIM) and the diving is excellent. The boats are organized, the staff is well-trained.
Bunaken is a great place to dive, I’ve been here years ago, but fewer divers due to covid seems to have increased the number of fish and the quality of the coral.
