Description: Shortly after Hurricane Laura made its way through the Caribbean and into the Gulf of Mexico, I traveled to Puerto Morelos. Puerto Morelos is home to one of the best preserved sections of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. We observed a very healthy reef system filled with a large variety of schooling fish.
