Description: Located directly opposite the outflow from the salt works, Tori's Reef has a beautiful location on the double reef on the West side of Bonaire. Boasting a bid diversity of fish and coral.
The shore entry is fairly easy through a channel that passes under the road and opens out on the reef. Once you've entered the water, you have to cross a sand bar with loads of Stag-horn coral followed by a strip of reef, then a sandbar again, eventually followed by the second reef. Larger fish, such as stingrays and barracudas are frequent visitors of this beautiful reef. Be sure to check the aggregations of fire coral on your way out to the reef. Many rare fish and eels can be found hiding here. Finding the rays is not always easy, they often hide under a layer of sand on the sand bars.
