Scubapro Introduces New Sidemount System
Leading scuba diving equipment manufacturer Scubapro have introduced a new sidemount system to their already impressive product line.

Unlimited freedom with Sidemount
The new modular system from SCUBAPRO has been developed in collaboration with leading Sidemount cave divers. Top quality and all configuration options are guaranteed to meet the needs of every diver.
A better streamlined shape, maximum manoeuvrability under water, less back strain, easier entry into the water and increased under water safety due to the simple accessibility of the air supply – these are just some of the benefits of the new SCUBAPRO X-TEK Sidemount system.
All system components are sold separately and are fully compatible so that very diver can build his ideal configuration. In addition, there are two ways to carry weights on the Sidemount system. The X-TEK QR weight pocket system can be attached to the waistband of the jacket or using a the band on the rear side of the harness. The weights can simply be wrapped around the band and clicked in to place.
It is also possible to use the Sidemount system as a backmount jacket as the harness is compatible with the stainless steel and aluminum X-TEK backplates. This raises the possibility of connecting the X-TEK wing, the single tank adapter or double clamps with the harness to use it as a backmount jacket.

The neoprene ribs in the back of the knees and crook of the arms are unique. The clever concept ensures optimum comfort when bending the arms or legs.
Shoulder and knee protectors protect the suit in high-wear areas. The small computer safety strap holds the device in place. The SP suit series is available for men and women in 5 & 7mm and offers a wide range of sizes including numerous intermediate sizes.
Every day, DYNAMICNORD works to keep its environmental impact as low as possible. Only the best available neoprene is used for the SP series of neoprene suits. It goes without saying that the neoprene is made from limestone. It is sourced from nature and has less negative impact on the environment. Furthermore, Carbon Black, one of the main components of neoprene, is pyrolysed from used tires. This reduces energy consumption and cuts CO₂ emissions by 200 grams per neoprene suit.
