Cath Bates

Cath Bates is a well-published observer of the diving community. In her previous life she taught both recreational and technical diving at Camel Dive Club in Sharm el Sheikh, where she “worked” tirelessly for 11 years. She is an Advanced Trimix, Sidemount and DPV Instructor for both TDI and PADI but prefers these days to pootle along a shallow-ish reef wall or muck site with her DSLR camera. She is currently “Technically Inspired” working as a full time Account Manager for a well known UK equipment manufacturer. Cath is happiest when wet or on a long walk with her Egyptian desert dog Kali and partner Alec.
