Profile
Dive Deep Blue Malta has been owned and operated by the same family for the past 30 years offering diver training, guided diving, independent diving, and support services to the many divers that trust us to look after them when they visit Malta.
Our aim from the very beginning was to create a dive centre with a dive club atmosphere, and with over 70 percent of divers being return or recommendations we feel we are on the right track. The people that we have met, and the friendships gained along the way have made it all worthwhile.
With Crystal clear seas and a multitude of wreck, reef, cavern, and scenic dive sites that are accessible just a few meters from our shores it’s no wonder the Maltese islands have gained the fantastic reputation it enjoys with scuba divers from around the world.
Always aiming to please everyone, for those looking for more adventurous or challenging diving we also offer boat dives, DPV excursions to sites further afield, as well as many of the diver specialties and skill development courses offered through the BSAC, PADI and SSI.
For divers with the urge to submerge and visit the deeper wrecks we also offer technical diver support and tech training courses through BSAC PADI and TDI.
10 years ago, our dedication to delivering only the highest levels of safety and service was recognised by British Ministry of Defence who after inspecting our centre, awarded us ComMAC status (commercial MOD approved centre). One of only 8 centres worldwide to obtain this accreditation, this honour comes with our agreement to meet the strict safety standards required by the MOD, so allowing us to train HM forces personnel. This includes an annual dive centre inspection/audit and laboratory air quality test as well as quarterly onsite factair tests ensuring that our divers here at Dive Deep Blue are receiving only the purest grade of gas.
Whether you are a single traveller or part of a group, here at Dive Deep Blue the warm and friendly welcome you will receive will be the same and you can rest assured that your safety and enjoyment is our highest priority.
Our instructors are also part of our family, and we choose who works with us very carefully. Patience and empathy are qualities we value and those who have dived with us before can attest to the level of experience our instructors have and the care and attention, they take to ensure that every dive is a memorable one.
A short visit to the reviews left by our divers on TripAdvisor and Google Reviews will give some idea of what we offer.
The onsite facilities that we provide for our divers cannot be found at other centres, private swimming/training pool, private parking area, wash and storage for our divers personal equipment, air, nitrox, trimix, and a huge overall footprint allowing our divers plenty of space to operate and socialise etc.
I think I could fill pages with the reasons you should choose to dive with us here at Dive Deep Blue when you visit Malta but really, the only way to experience and understand what sets us apart from the rest is come and join us on your next visit.

2 Reviews on “Dive Deep Blue Malta”
Excellent dive centre. I’ve used frequently and recommended to multiple people. The owners, staff and instructors always go above and beyond especially but in no order Amy, Jack and Jerry.
Having first met the team at Dive Deep Blue in 2016, I was immediately impressed with the hospitality shown to new customers.
As a member of a six person team looking to establish a ‘base of opperations’ where we could bring expeditions to train beginners and progress already qualified divers safely and in a comfortable environment, we found DDB.
Jonathan, Cathrine, Amy and the rest of the team made us welcome from day one.
The venture proved so popular that we continued the adventure, expanding the trips to 2 weeks twice a year in spring and autumn increasing the numbers up to 20 divers per week (10 beginners and 10 qualified) only stopping due to covid.
The feedback recived from participant and the praise they gave led to each place having 7-10 applications.
I can mainly attribute the success the support from Dive Deep Blue to our instructors. John and his team were so focused on our trips they pretty much took no other booking when we were there to allow them to fully support us.
This is not what we expected from a commercial venture, and goes to further enhance the dedication the team at Dive Deep Blue give to their customers, be it individual divers or large groups like ours.
Having moved on to a new position, which allows me to visit Malta on business I still use DDB for personal diving myself and now for my family as well…
All I can say further is THANK YOU.
