Description: You dont see this array of colours normally on spider crabs (Hyas araneus). This photo was taken using a specialist blue-light filter and a yellow filter on my camera lens. The colours come from fluorescent proteins ommitted by the crab themkselves and also the algae that grows on the crabs shell.
