Alonissos Triton Dive Center is a PADI 5* Instructor Development Resort located in Alonissos, Greece, dedicated to providing the highest level of instruction in scuba diving, freediving, and snorkeling.
We offer a comprehensive range of courses, from beginner-level dives and Open Water certification to advanced certifications up to Master Divers and Instructors. Additionally, we provide a variety of specialty courses, including DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle), Enriched Air Nitrox, Dry Suit, Search and Recovery, Night Diving, and more.
The dive center has a Nitrox filling station, top-quality equipment, and highly qualified instructors offering courses in multiple languages. Acknowledging the fragility of the underwater environment, our philosophy is centered on educating divers about the importance of protecting and conserving these delicate ecosystems.
Diving in Alonissos
One of the greatest advantages of Alonissos is its designation as the first National Marine Park in Europe, making it one of the most preserved marine ecosystems in the Mediterranean.
This status offers an excellent opportunity to dive into crystal-clear waters of significant importance to both European and global heritage. With 21 accessible dive sites, we offer beautiful dives for every level. The sites include wall dives, reef dives, small caverns and caves, as well as three stunningly colorful gorgonian gardens.
In 2020, Greece’s first underwater museum opened to the public in our area. This site holds exceptional historic and archaeological interest. The Peristera shipwreck, dating back to the 5th century BC, is the oldest accessible shipwreck in the world.
Alonissos has emerged as a premier scuba diving location in Greece after the lifting of government restrictions. Historically a haven for pirates and a crossroads of ancient trade routes, the island is home to numerous shipwrecks beneath its clear waters. Future plans include making shipwrecks from the Classical and Byzantine periods accessible. Alonissos is on its way to becoming one of Europe’s top diving destinations, and National Geographic has featured it in “A Diver’s Guide to the World” as one of the best places to dive globally.

These guys are amazing, I did my open water with them and they taught me how to dive and it opened up a whole new chapter in my life! Super professional but also the best human beings, I consider them my Greek family. They were the reason I came back to Alonissos two years later, and I can’t wait to go again. If you have the opportunity, go with Triton, you will not regret it!
Professional and friendly dive center! I had no experience with scuba dive before and made my first Open Water Diver PADI cerification with Triton, and the experience was unforgettable. Excellent and well organized team, mixing safety, learning and fun.

I’ve dived with this diving center for 4 days and had an amazing time with them. The whole team was super friendly and professional, and they are always keen to provide advice so you can improve your technique. You can tell that they are all passionate about Alonissos maritime park
The younger instructors were very nice and informative on every single dive. They cared so much for our safety and even gave us tips to improve, unlike so many others. The boat is a bit stuffy when it’s high season, but it is to be expected. Both the instructors and Divemasters speak so many different languages, there was always someone helping people that struggle with English or Greek.
Coming back this summer! Can’t wait to try the freediver course!!

We had the pleasure of diving with Alonissos Triton Dive Center for nearly two weeks, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we started planning our trip, the team was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had the right transfers and everything we needed before we even arrived. Their location is perfect—right in front of the port, so you just cross the road and you’re on the boat, ready to dive.
The dive center operates with two boats and has a nitrox compressor for dives that require it. The dive center boasts highly skilled instructors and multiple kind divemaster interns who made every dive enjoyable and safe. The diving itself was spectacular for the Mediterranean Sea, with clear waters and abundant marine life. A highlight of our trip was diving at Peristera, the oldest accessible shipwreck in the world—truly a must-see!

I have been diving with the Triton team for the previous 4 summers and the services provided by the team always surprise me in term of excellence. My favourite dive site in Marine Park is the Ancient Shipwreck of Peristera but i am amazed by the underwater formations and sealife that i come across every time i dive here. Can’t wait to be back!!! Highly recommend!
