Fujifilm Announce Official Dive Housing For XQ1 Camera
Fujifilm has announced the launch of an official dive housing for the XQ1 camera, which was announced in October 2013.
Now the diving community can benefit from the fast response times and the low light capabilities of the XQ1 with the launch of a new underwater housing that allows you to use the camera at depths of up to 40m underwater.
The latest EXR Processor II in the XQ1 more than doubles the previous model’s processing speed, controlling noise and maintaining image clarity meaning that underwater blues and greens are beautifully and accurately reproduced.
Here are some of the key features of the ultra compact XQ1 camera:

– Lightning fast 0.6 second Auto Focus with Phase Detection pixels, shutter lag of 0.015s and shooting interval of 0.3s mean that you won’t miss any of the fast moving action

– Lens Modulation technology optimises output for amazing straight out of camera shots in all lighting conditions

– Wireless Image Transfer – for easy transfer of images to smartphone or tablet
– High Speed Continuous shooting of up to 12 frames per second
– Full manual exposure control and Focus Peaking assist when manual focussing
– Advanced Art filters for in camera creativity including Partial Colour
– Easy to use controls including a direct Control Ring, plus customisable buttons and dials
– Bright 920k dot 3” LCD makes composition of the images easy in all lighting conditions

The WP-XQ1 Underwater Housing allows you to use the XQ1 at depths of up to 40m. Built from Transparent Polycarbonate the sturdy housing not only protects the camera but allows you to use all its controls whilst underwater.
You can easily use the wheel to move the Control Dial and adjust settings or alternatively the direct drive buttons all have their own easy access buttons.
White balance controls allow you to set the actual colour temperature or fine tune white balance by using the new white balance shift graphic controls.
