Enter the NUPG Splash-In comp this July

The Northern Underwater Photography Group will be holding its annual Splash-In competition on 8th July. The Splash-In is an open competition for underwater photographers with trophies awarded for Open Macro, Open Wide Angle, Best Compact Image and Best Newcomer plus a trophy for the overall best image.

The judging is held at the Belle Vue Hotel, Holyhead Road, Bangor, North Wales, LL57 2EU. Entrants must submit their images at the venue between 6 and 7pm on the day. Images must be taken in the sea on the day of the competition and will be judged by those who attend that evening.

You must register to enter the Splash-In before the event. You can do this by emailing competition@nupg.org.uk. You will then be sent a registration form that you must photograph at the start of the day and at the end of your dives. Your memory card must be blank at the start of the day and then the first and last image taken must be of your registration form.

This year trophies are sponsored by Apeks/Aqualung, Blue Orb, Dive Safari Asia, Divequest, Frogfish Photography, Frogsborn, Nauticam, Scubaverse and Mares.
