Barefoot Divers Course Director Tati Pereira Develops Quality Dive Professionals with PADI IDCs at Barefoot Cay Resort Roatan
Roatan-based PADI Course Director Tati Pereira continues to build and enhance the scuba diving industry through her exclusive PADI Instructor Development Courses she conducts at the popular Barefoot Cay Resort on Roatan. Currently celebrating her 13th year as a PADI Course Director, he successful candidates have plenty of good things to say about Tati.
“Tati and her staff are top of the line people when it comes to training and really care that you complete and pass with above average scores,” says Bruce Bodden, a graduate of the Barefoot Cay program who currently is an active dive professional on the island. “I cannot think of enough accolades and words to describe her dedication. Tati and her staff took whatever time was necessary for all of us that needed that little extra assistance to ensure we would succeed.”
Well-known throughout the Caribbean region, Tati joined Barefoot Cay Divers in 2022. Since then, the Dive Center has become one of the most talked about facilities on the island. Tati’s professionalism and in-depth industry knowledge have resulted in a new generation of local dive professionals providing quality service and guidance to visitors and locals wanting to enjoy the local waters.
Another one of Tati’s graduates Anastasiia Kubrak said, “I was told ‘If you want to be JUST an instructor do it with anyone, but if you want to be a GREAT INSTRUCTOR you should do your training with Tati’. And that’s what I did.” A native of Ukraine, Anastasiia is putting her training to good use, working full-time as a dive professional on Roatan.
She adds, “I felt so confident at the exam compared to other students who did their IDC with other course directors. I knew I am trained so well and I shouldn’t be worried about anything. My expectations were fulfilled 1000% and I am very grateful to Tati for all the work that was done and for making me a great Scuba Instructor!”
The next PADI IDC program at Barefoot Divers is scheduled for August 5-18 at Barefoot Cay Resort. Following that, another program will be offered beginning September 8
Roatan’s popularity among the dive community continues to grow. The island’s diversity provides exceptional opportunities for recreational divers, advanced divers and professionals. Many candidates choose Roatan for their professional training because of the calm, warm waters, exceptional climate and quality training.
Tati points out that many dive professionals, upon completion of their IDC Course are often invited to join local dive operations as full-time dive professionals. For more information about Barefoot Divers, visit the website – https://www.barefootcay.com/diving
