Profile
Founded in 1958, Southern Cross Club is Little Cayman’s original resort. With 14 colorful beach bungalows dappled across 900 ft. of sand and a one-to-one guest/staff ratio, visitors find themselves in a serene environment that offers privacy, comfort, and personalized, diligent service. This, combined with stunning views, delicious cuisine, and a first-class diving and fishing operation, makes what Southern Cross Club offers an experience like no other.
At just 10 square miles, Little Cayman remains true to what a Caribbean Island should be. The Island was mostly uninhabited and rarely visited until the mid-19th century and to this day continues to have limited development. 75% of our shoreline is protected and maintained by the local Department of Environment, keeping the island’s natural beauty unspoiled. This tiny island is the true gem of the Cayman Islands.
Our guests appreciate our amenities including many bungalows with outdoor showers, an on-property restaurant serving international fusion and Caribbean favorites, our Loggerhead Bar featuring custom cocktails by our in-house mixologist, and complimentary Wi-Fi in the main clubhouse and upper deck. We also offer our guests complimentary kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and beach-cruiser bicycles, and our much-loved lounging hammocks scattered across the property under shady palms.
Southern Cross Club activities include diving with our in-house team at Little Cayman’s renowned Bloody Bay Marine Park. For those new to diving, our team also offers training certification. Those who enjoy fishing can book with our in-house guide to experience fly-fishing on Tarpon Lake, wading for bonefish on Little Cayman’s legendary flats, or deep-sea fishing. Just off our shore lies the uninhabited Owen Island and our guests regularly kayak or paddleboard the short distance to explore. Other points of interest include Little Cayman Museum, Little Cayman National Trust Nature Reserve and Visitor Centre, and the Booby Pond Nature Reserve, the Central Caribbean Marine Institute, and Point of Sand Beach.

1 Review on “Southern Cross Club”
We are repeat customers of Southern Cross Club and every time we go, at least half of the guests are regular customers and for good reason. Sure, Little Cayman offers gin clear water, great variety of sea life and Bloody Ball Wall is breath taking but the reason come back is the combination of a world class diving operation and the amazing relaxed hospitality. The dive operation is our absolute favorite and Mike does not only a great job of organizing the dives but does a fantastic job of educating the divers on the local marine life. We have been a number of times and learn new things each time.
